Mayor Noel Formosa
Mayor Noel Formosa has been appointed Mayor of San Lawrenz Local Council
since the very beginning. He is also active in various voluntary organizations
in the parish of San Lawrenz, in the locality and also in Gozo. He is
Gozo representative in the Local Council Association. He is Malta’s representative
in the Council of Europe and also in the Committee of the Regions within
the European Union. He serves as a Chariman in various committees as for
example the Gozo Mayor’s Committee. Recently he has been appointed as
a Vice-President of the EPP group within the Committee of the Regions.

Deputy Mayor Anthony Formosa
Mr Anthony Formosa has a secondary level of education. He is married and
has three children. He worked in Australia and currently is employed with
the Gozo General Hospital as an ambulance driver. He is an active member
of various organizations in the locality. |

Councillor Luigia Grima
Mrs Grima works as a social carer within the Department for the Care of
the Elderly. She is married and a mother of three. She is a member in
the Legion of Mary and in the Parish Council. She is an active member
in various organizations within the locality. |

Councillor John Mercieca
Married and father of two. He has a secondary level of education
and works in Ta' Dbiegi Crafts Village. He is an active member
of various organizations in the locality. |

Councillor Joseph Sultana
He is married and a father of four. He has a secondary level of education.
He works within the Works Department and is also an active member in organization
in the locality. |

Executive Secretary Lucienne Haber
Mrs Lucienne Haber has bee appointed as a Council Secretary of the San
Lawrenz Local Council in August 1994 as a part-time Secretary. In the
meantime she also served as a secretary within the Qala Local Council.
As from June 1996 she has been appointed on a full time basis with San
Lawrenz Local Council only. She is married to Marcel and mum of Nicholas
and Elaine. She has also worked as an Executive Officer within the Police
Department and as a clerk with the Ministry of Finance.
